At eleven the promising young actress joined a creative devising group called Panapaná, a branch of The ACTA, The theatre company of the Algarve.

For the first two years, she was part of over four plays and by 2015 she was selected to participate in a theatre exchange with future practitioners in a village in France, creating a partnership with Un Pas De Cotê, an Arts. An organization that had with aim of developing and devising theatre. Working in a Chapitô for about six weeks they developed a series of sketches that then had a tour throughout France.

 

Back in Portugal,  Bea worked on over 25 projects in the industry and by the age of 15, she was performing in about six plays a year.

 


Latter on Bea found her place as a movement developer practitioner and started to explore mimics, body posture and puppetry.

 


By 17 she moved to London to perceive her artistic career and got more interested in sound and visuals, dedicating her free time to fine arts extensions of her ideas, collages, soundscapes, and installations. She also writes a sitcom that might come out next year so stay tuned… It´s a work in progress.
